Why do we believe what we believe? 3/3

In the context of disinformation—especially around climate change—understanding belief formation is essential. People are more likely to believe disinformation that aligns with their existing views or social identity. This means that simply providing facts is not always enough to change minds. We must also consider the emotional and psychological processes that shape belief.
