  1. Principle

A principle is a rule, policy, or guideline that governs how something should be done. This includes climate treaties, laws, and sustainability standards.

  1. Fact

A fact is a verifiable piece of information based on evidence—such as data, measurements, or scientific findings.

 “The average global temperature has increased by more than 1°C since the late 19th century.”
