Criteria for evaluating sources 6/9
- What
False or misleading claims are often presented as fact, but lack supporting evidence. Some content may be opinion or marketing dressed up as science.
Ask the following questions:
- What is being said?
- Are the claims based on evidence, data, or expert opinion?
- Does the content explain its sources or research?
- Is it informative and balanced—or emotional, exaggerated, or manipulative?
What type of content is it: news, opinion, satire, or advertising?
