Criteria for evaluating sources 1/9
There are several helpful methods developed to assess whether a source is trustworthy and reliable. Among the most widely used are:
- The 5Ws method
- The CARS checklist
- The CRAAP test
In this module, we’ll take a closer look at the 5Ws, and briefly introduce the other two to help you get familiar with different ways to evaluate information—especially important when dealing with climate change content, where disinformation is common.
