Introduction

This course aims to:

  • Provide basic knowledge about climate change to non-expert audiences.
  • Introduce key scientific concepts related to climate, including climate models, data visualization, climate threats and hazards and climate risks.
  • Offer an overview of policy and governance tools for adaptation and climate action.
  • Offer the opportunity to deepen your knowledge on the various topics by providing useful material.

Once you complete this course, we strongly encourage you to check the sister Academy to access and use climate data and monitor climate risks to deepen your interest and knowledge.
