Responsible content creation 3/3

Good practices

When creating or sharing digital content, it’s important to follow responsible habits.

  • Always use images, music, or other media that are copyright-free or properly licensed, respecting the rights of creators.
  • Think carefully about who your audience is and whether the content you post is inclusive, respectful, and fair to different perspectives.
  • Avoid posting in the heat of the moment—especially when feeling angry or upset. Taking a moment to pause and reflect can help prevent the spread of harmful or misleading information, including climate change disinformation.
  • One useful habit is keeping a media diary, where you can track and reflect on the content you consume and create. This helps build awareness of your own media habits and encourages more thoughtful engagement online.
