Google Fact Check Explorer

By employing specific keywords, you can find out whether any information or multimedia content about climate change has been debunked by a fact-checking organization.

Example

A message on X (previously known as Twitter) claims that 1,609 scientists declare the climate crisis to be a hoax, including two Nobel Prize winners. The same claim was discovered in a Facebook post by a page named after an Australian MP.

The claim seems to be started from a Clintel Group’s report. The Group’s website prominently featuring the slogan “There is no climate emergency”.

To verify the claim, you could use Google’s Fact Check Explorer, inputting “1609 scientists” AND “climate” and opting to search across all languages.
