Framing refers to the way media and other communicators shape the narrative around an issue. This influences how audiences understand and interpret information.

Representation: how individuals or groups are depicted

Representation examines whose voices are included or excluded and how they are portrayed in media, advertising, and public discourse. It can shape stereotypes or challenge them.

Are minority groups fairly portrayed in a film or advertisement?
